Hello! Okay, so, I know haven't been posting much lately, but I wanted to catch up with you. Like, friends getting coffee after the holidays, looking back on the year and thinking about the state of everything, except this is all about me. Perfect.
2015, was an explosion of a year. I pushed myself to my max and threw my limitations out the window. Sometimes the payoff was great, but I also cried at brunch a comical amount this year. It was eventful, amazing, stressful, and full of changes. I spent a month in Chile, moved to a new city, got a handful of new jobs & a new apartment. I got my first tattoo, TV, and car. It's been a heck-ola of a year, and I haven't even talked about my hair yet.
So, my sweet neglected blog! I have so much I want to post about moving, de-cluttering, smoothies and cute crafts, but I truly have not had the time to share much. Now that I'm settled in at my new jobs here, here and here (where I've been making & learning at a wild rate), and I also have my own studio space, hopefully I'll be able to slowly put out some crafting tutorials, essays about periods and other new life lessons.
Here's a picture of a bag I made for my friend Philly pal, Dylan. I'm hoping to re-board the backpack-making train again soon, so hold tight, pals who have inquired and are waiting patiently. I'm working on some new designs and upgrading my equipment. Slowly and steadily, I'll churn out some new stuff.
I'm so grateful that with so much changing around us, I landed a sweet, beautiful apartment. I'm sure I'll have plenty of posts about kale and mood lighting when I have some spare time, but for now, pictures of my living room will have to do as far as my domestic documentation. This room makes me feel super duper #blessed.
Well, pals, as a final note, I'd like to ask you, what would you like to see on Spoiled Rotten in 2016? Any types of posts you want to see more of? Do you want more pictures, more words, some videos or some audio? More recipes? But seriously, lemme know. We are gonna have a good year on here, thanks for flowing with the flow, being patient when I'm not around, and leaving so many lovely comments. I'm looking forward to writing some essays, maybe dipping into the podcast world, and getting back into the crafty-doodle life. I'll leave you with a self-portrait. xo
