When I used to eat frozen pizzas and Oreo ice cream every day, where to put compost wasn't a big deal because there wasn't very much of it. Then I started eating produce on a daily basis, and turns out, eating healthy creates a ton of compost. For a while I kept it on my porch in the bucket that the city gives you, but that got super disgusting very quickly. There is an answer to this: keep compost in paper bags in the freezer!
Whenever we're cooking, we grab a paper bag and fill it with all the organic matter we don't want to eat, and stick it in the freezer. You never have to come into contact with rotten food, and taking it out to the bin isn't even that gross!
